December 30th, 2015, I was packing in preparation to move our family to Florida. I had spent an hour packing up hundreds of sea shells that I've collected from Florida beaches while attending college there or vacationing there over the past 18 years. While cooking dinner I was smiling thinking about spending days on the beach, collecting shells, coral and finally shark teeth (as we are relocating
to Sarasota County - which has huge deposits of sharks teeth)! I then had a moment of panic when I realized there's only SO many shells one can collect. I started brainstorming as to how these beautiful shells can be displayed. After Googling how to make resin castings, I ran out on New Year's Eve, got some supplies & went to work experimenting! I fell in love with the end results and hope that you love them as much as I do. On these cold, Vermont winter days, all I have to do is look at one of these charming necklaces and I can almost feel and smell the sea all around me!
