Our Story

Tim and Maria Santos started Island Stylez in 2003. Tim born and raised in Guam from the village of Santa Rita. Maria is from the bay area and has danced under the instruction of Kumu Auntie Linda Danek of Hula Halau 'O Pi'ilani of Santa Clara, CA and Kumu Auntie Lorie Almogela of Milpitas, CA. With their knowledge and experience, their goal is to reach out to all Islanders hoping to stimulate pride for their heritage and culture. We also learn the importance of hardworking people to be able to afford fine jewelry and other items for themselves.
