About Saturday! I hosted my first Get Waisted by Suzzie Jo with a Twist out of my salon. I was so excited and nervous at the same time and I couldn’t place which frequency was higher. When I decided to host my first event I was so nervous I canceled it….yes I canceled because I was thinking what if? What if……you fill in the blank bc everything you’re thinking of I had the same thoughts! I was stuck between move or stay comfortable comfortable is familiar it can be safe or move in auto pilot bc that’s what we’re use to BUT praying for something new and different. I WaNt TO MOVE so I decided to reschedule it and I did it, I hosted my first Get Waisted by Suzzie Jo with a Twist on April 18 and I was so excited excited beyond measure full of smiles and yeses 😃😃I was up late until 3:30 a.m. that early day I couldn’t wait to go to sleep just to wake up and get started. I’m up and it’s go time and I didn’t have time to get a pedi so what did I do I did an overlay I layered one polish of the other drastic times calls for drastic measures.😂🤣😂😂
We’re getting ready my niece Skye Wynn, her daughter Aaliyah and myself the music playing, the space smells nice and the atmosphere is inviting ready to welcome all that wants to come.
Here comes the text messages: sorry I can’t make it, something came up call me later I wanna hear all about it, congratulations sorry family emergency and then I was wondering where’s my photographer bc shes never late so I check my messages and realized she cancelled me!🥺
What’s happening? So received another text saying we’re outside is it ok for us to come in bc we’re a bit early, I replied absolutely. When I saw these 4 beautiful women one of which I’m very familiar with and the other 3 beautiful ladies I’ve never meet but after the event I felt as in if we’ve all known each since forever.
When I decided to create Get Waisted by Suzzie Jo with a Twist, the purpose is to bring women together, although you’ll be learning how to create your own waist beads. It’s about connecting with other women sharing our experiences, looking at life from a different perspective, getting out of our own way seeing how we can connect and learn how to disagree without conflict. Learn how to monitor our tone and to take accountability for our actions so we can start living the beautiful life we’re supposed to live. I want to share these experiences with you ladies, I’ll be hosting another Get Waisted with a Twist and I’ll post it on my social media if you know someone who is not on social media, please share it with them. Yerffej, thank you for all the movement you contributed to this event for me you made it physically possible for me to be able to pull this off. Thank you for staying up till 3:30 in the a.m. while I orchestrated my assembly line for the appetizers. Your company was greatly appreciated and needed!🥰
