We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our May Daze booth to share our little wonderous corner of the world. We met some the most awesome individuals (SHOUT OUT TO PAPA BILL, JACKIE AND JUSTEN!) and we were able to share our passion with so many wonderful people. We truly appreciate all of you who stopped in to show us some love.

Big news from Laila’s Lair - Natural History & Curiosities!
We’re officially introducing our Curiosity Capsules. A fun little twist on the classic capsule machine, filled with tiny treasures from the natural world and occasionally a cool little manmade trinket.
Inside you may find fossils, crystal tumbles, UV reactive tumbles, shells, jewel beetle wings, snake shed, antler rounds, and many more tiny surprises!
We’ll be bringing the capsule machine with us to May Daze in Blanchard, Oklahoma on May 15th and 16th, along with our usual mix of crystals, fossils, oddities, curiosity pieces, and unique finds.
Come see us, grab a capsule, and discover what strange little treasure is waiting inside.

Would you find this fascinating, or would it totally gross you out?

Octopus tentacles are wild. Their suckers can actually taste what they touch. Yes, really. Which makes me wonder what they’re thinking when they latch onto a diver’s face, but I digress. 😂

Laila’s Lair is stocked up with natural history, curiosities, oddities, fossils, minerals, butterfly art, preserved specimens, skulls, and more weird little treasures just waiting to be discovered. 🦴

From octopus tentacles 🐙 and dyed squid specimens 🦑, to mica stained sea urchins 🐚, butterfly displays 🦋, resin skulls 💀, fossils 🦖, crystals 🔮, and one-of-a-kind art pieces 🎨, there’s a little bit of strange and beautiful tucked all throughout the booth.

Our sweet little Lula Belle has found her new home at Boudreaux’s restaurant in Newcastle, Oklahoma!
This charming little lady is now on display there as a featured curiosity from Laila’s Lair – Natural History & Curiosities, and we are beyond thrilled to see her become part of a local business space.

Yesterday at Odd Oklahoma was more than just a good event for us. It was deeply encouraging.
Small businesses are built on long days, late nights, financial risk, creativity, stress, hope, and a whole lot of heart. There is so much that people never see behind the scenes. So when people show up, connect with what you’ve created, and support it in such a real way, it hits deeply.
To everyone who stopped by Laila’s Lair yesterday: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for your support, your kindness, your curiosity, your purchases, and your conversations. Thank you for seeing value in what we do. Thank you for making us feel like this dream we’re building matters.
We walked away feeling grateful, humbled, and honestly a little emotional. Yesterday was a major success for our little business and reminded us why we keep going.

We're getting ready for Odd Oklahoma! Slowly getting pieces ready for the big event in March. I really like this one!

All natural materials; preserved moss, dried flowers, a natural quartz point and a raccoon bone with a beautiful, delicate butterfly perched atop. 🥰
