What do you do when life seems completely out of control and there is nothing you can do to fix it? I simultaneously pray and paint! What do you do??

Philippians 4:6-7

Our last day of Bible Journaling Retreat is always a little sad but this year it was filled with such hope. Though it was sad to say goodbye, we left with our cups full and over flowing with love, peace and joy for all God had done and was going to do in our lives this coming year. So until next year... "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" Romans 15:13

Day three of our 2026 Faith Reflections Bible Journaling Retreat was amazing! God was in this place! We worshiped cried and laughed and cried some more in such a good way, surrendering our cares and burdens to the Lord, allowing Him to fill us up with such joy and peace. It was a beautiful day.

She loves deeply and there is never a doubt that her faith and love for God is the most important thing in her life. She lives it every day. I am blessed to be able to call her my sister. Several of you have inquired about the release date of our book. We have, quite frankly, not known what to say. We have hit several roadblocks, not of our own doing, but with the publishing company we chose. They have updated their entire software since we submitted our book, and then they initially edited it as a black-and-white e-book.🤦‍♀️ Trust me, this book will not be in black and white! It is a full-color devotional book with colorful journaling pages and stickers. We are trying to be patient, but it has been quite challenging. Please pray for us as we are being assigned a new Author Care Manager this week. We are praying that progress will be made more quickly now that some of these issues have been addressed. We are still excited and can't wait to get it in your hands.

Reflecting His Word

I began this ministry/business to share faith based jewelry and other items that reflect God's Word, in hopes that it would be an encouragement to others. I believe we need to remember that we are not alone on this journey. God has given us moments, “God Moments”, all along the way to show us that He is with us. I also believe that He puts people in our path that we can walk hand in hand with on this faith journey.

It is my prayer that through Faith Reflections something as simple as a piece of jewelry worn or perhaps even a scripture on a cup, will be a reminder of God’s truths and bring encouragement to someone.

In the summer of 2017, my daughter and her husband were in the process of adopting two beautiful children from Sierra Leone, Africa. My son and his wife were beginning the process of starting a new church. I wanted to be able to help them by not only being encouraging but financially too. I also had begun a new ministry, providing supplies and teaching classes on Bible Journaling. I was looking into a way to make some extra income to be able to provide support for these ministries. "Faith Reflections" was created for this purpose. I had no idea what God had planned.
