**Latinjewel** is a collection of unique, original handcrafted jewelry for the free spirit. Transforming hammered sterling silver into modern contemporary designs with latin inspiration. I use high quality elements, including genuine natural stones, freshwater pearls, swarovski crystals, and .925 or .950 sterling silver. I am originally from Peru, but I moved to the US some years ago to marry who

will become the father of my baby girl. While living in Peru, I had the opportunity to get a formal education in jewelry and I started handcrafting my own pieces by the time I was 18. It was my love of art, antiques, and history that first drew me into jewelry designs and it was the love for my baby girl the reason which brought me back to my artsy world. I love to design pieces that reflect my cultural richness, habits, and way of life. Each piece has a symbolic significance born from the Latino-American culture with ancient roots and is created to adorn the spirit and enlighten the soul. Currently, I live in the beautiful Truckee, California. When I am not focusing on the next jewelry piece, I hit the slopes.
