Hello to all my friends and customers. I need to tell you what is happening. The building I am in has been purchased and I have until August 31 to remove everything from it. I need your help in getting things out of here. I am selling everything now at half price and I will make deals on just about anything. if you need it if you’ve seen it and you wanted it come and let me know and I’ll make a deal with you.
This is all been quite a shock and was not planned for. I was hoping to sell the business to someone who would keep it going just like I had for the last 29 years. It is with a sad heart that I am leaving my business behind because I can’t afford any of the buildings here in Trinidad to move it to. I also turned 82 years old last Monday and it’s probably time for me to retire. This is not how I envisioned it, it was supposed to move on to someone who would love it as much as I do and would be here for my customers.
I will still have my 2 1/2 booths at Trinidad Trends at 121 East Main and I will be supplying them with merchandise. I can no longer take donations because I have to get rid of everything that’s already here. If you need anything, please check with me and help me clean out this store.
I have six showcases for sale for $50 each. I have lots of shelves and bookcases for sale. I will be donating the remainder of my store to New Horizons in Pueblo. FIrst I would like to give back to the wonderful customers in Trinidad who have supported me and loved me for the last 29 years. I have met so many kind and generous people through the years and made many new friends. Without you I could never have stayed in business. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have made every day a pleasure to be in business.
I also need to thank all the people who have helped me through the years and especially Loretta Lovato and Randy Haig most recently. Through many years Ollie Madsen and Tina Almarez were always there for me, along with Riftee, Jim Hall. V and numerous others. A special shout-out to my sister Carol who came from California to help me close. I love you all and I will miss you all. Thank you for everything and keep in touch.
