Heya folks!
I just wanted to come on and say a few words about how I choose my vendors. I haven't ever really posted what my criteria is, and because of that, I often have to turn folks down, so I thought I should.
First off, Billy's is a curated bazaar, meaning that I hand-pick the people who join us. I usually reach out to the folks I want. You are more than welcome to inquire about being a vendor, but it doesn't guarantee you a spot.
Being eco-friendly and low waste is a big part of what I am trying to do, and I would like for this to remain a plastic free market if I can. I am only accepting makers who use natural materials. That means no plastic of any kind, including resin. ( I am aware that paint technically falls into this category, but I do accept fine artists )
Also, our inside dates through the fall and winter are in a smaller space and will have fewer vendors and smaller setups. I accept handmade and vintage vendors only, and I am only taking one vintage vendor per bazaar as this is mainly a handmade market. Also, I am looking for high-quality vintage, so if you only sell old plastic toys or things from the early 2000s, this is not the market for you.
I hope that clears things up a bit.
Please feel free to dm me with any questions.
Thank you!
Billy
