Just a heads up, the Cherrybomb tournament has been cancelled after a decade of fun. Not sure the future of this tournament but hopefully next year. I plan to send email this evening. Sorry for the inconvenience but we will focus on next one which is in October. A 7 on 7 tourney which is a great tourney. We did one year and it was great experience. In Lansing at Hope Complex. I will get dates asap. Have a great summer!

Ok we have about 9 girls who said they were interested in Cherrybomb. We need more girls. YMCA paid for tourney so there will be small fee to play in this tournament which usually runs about $125 a player or more. So this is great opportunity. I will be announcing practice schedule this weekend with email and all the details. Spread the word, we need more players. I would like at least 15-20 players. This would be a great number for playing time. Thanks!

Ok, just an update June 22 nd tournament cancelled. Although, the YMCA has offered to pay for Cherrybomb tournament which is July 20-21. Save the date, I will be sending email about the details asap.

So, here is the plan! First Practice this Wednesday 5:15pm at Silver lake YMCA until 6:45pm. Then, it will be Tuesday and Wednesdays same time and place. See you soon!

Fields almost clear...I will find out this weekend when we can starting using field. Wednesday practices from 5-6:30pm is definite day and probably starting April 8th if Ymca allows on the field by that date. I will give update Sunday Evening.

Ok. I am meeting with Ymca this weekend to discuss dates and times. Wednesday is a definite and exact time is not but practice will be 1.5 hours. I would say 5-6:30pm for now. The other day is what we are trying to figure out. I can't get to practice any earlier than 6:30pm unless I do Friday. So, we will see between field availability and coaches schedules what the other practice day and time will be for the week. Ymca will give me list of registered players and we will merge current list with new players and start emailing and updating Facebook. Plan to practice outside starting week of April 8th. So, the Ymca is having some free clinics for the boys at old Ymca I think and I wanted to have a meeting during clinic. I thought maybe we could pick up some players.(sisters). The Ymca is planning on giving us some free clinic days as well. So, I am thinking middle of February weekend we will have meeting. I just need to find out from Barb when clinics are for February and plan meeting that weekend. I will let you know asap. Thanks
