During our 5th Annual Gratitude Gala, we proudly presented the Champion for Children Award, graciously sponsored by Roof Jewelers & Awards.

This award honors someone whose advocacy extends far beyond their job description and whose presence brings clarity and comfort during some of the most difficult moments a family can face. This year’s recipient plays a vital role in guiding families through the criminal justice process, offering steady support, clear communication, and compassion throughout the prosecution phase.

Serving as a critical link between law enforcement, prosecutors, and families, she strengthens investigations while ensuring victims and caregivers never feel alone or uninformed. Her empathy, professionalism, and dedication ease an already heavy journey and make our collective work possible.

We are honored to recognize Bradford County Victim Witness Coordinator Teashia Calkins as our 2025 Champion for Children.
