Joan Scibienski, the first author I published beyond the book I wrote with WW II Airman Royce Fulmer, is an incredible intuitive counselor with decades of experience to share. I miss the personal connections I made by selling my bead jewelry. I learned so much through my little bead business and I have my wonderful customers to thank for that. I'm using that experience to help with my new venture, Flint Hills Publishing. A lot of neat things are happening there, including the publication of our first children's book, "Frances the Angel Dog." My talented friend and now colleague Traci Osborn ( Traci Osborn Studios) is heading up Prairie Dog Press, an imprint of Flint Hills Publishing. We've published 9 books with more in the works! To all my bead-loving friends, make sure you find your creative outlet. And really, it's okay if it changes- that probably means you're growing!
