Living Color Opals and Intarsia I also do the jewelry!

Intarsia is a mosaic of carefully cut precious and semiprecious stones, assembled in a beautiful geometric pattern, cut in the shape of a cabochon, and ready for setting in jewelry.

I have created an instructional video showing how to make your own intarsia pieces! There are currently not many references showing how to do this, I had to mostly learn on my own. I have been doing it for over 25 years off and on. All you need is a flat lap and some materials, and some patience and a steady hand to make beautiful pieces you can treasure forever!

A primer for building stone intarsia using opal and other gem and semi-precious lapidary materials.
