We have new Gem Trees in the shop made by Sonny. These trees are made from copper wire and feature Arizona Peridot from Steven Joey's mine in San Carlos, AZ and Petrified Wood from our claim up north
Two of the trees are inspired by Juniperus osteosperma, Utah Junipers which thrive along the edge of the Grand Canyon! These wind swept trees can live to be 300-700 years old and some of the more ancient ones are 1000 years old. Amazingly, these trees are self pruning during droughts and will drop off what is needed to preserve moisture until the next rainy season!

We have some amazing new items inventoried in the shop this week that include high end mineral slabs from Arizona, black tourmaline and quartz specimens from Pakistan and gorgeous, green, Persian, demantoid garnet specimens.
Wow!!!! So beautiful!!!!💗

Purple Fluorite, Peach Calcite and Green Apatite from the Yates Mine in Canada are in the shop this week.
The Fluorite fluoresces Blue and the Peach Calcite fluoresces a soft
Red under long wave 365 UV with a filter. The blue reaction is from Europium and Manganese and Lead (acting as a co-activator) causes the Red reaction in the Calcite.
Metaphysically these specimens are prized as symbols of illumination, revelation and hidden truth and are valued to help with Heart Healing.
Not all fluorescent minerals are as pretty in bright daylight as they are under long wave UV light.
That is not the case with these specimens. They are bright and beautiful!!!

HEADS UP FOR THOSE PLANNING VISITS TO THE SHOP! 💗💗💗
We will be closed for the last week of June, the 21st until June 30, to Celebrate our Father's passing and spend time with our family enjoying nature.

Geode Day at the shop! We are adding fresh Geodes to the bin and this one was too cool not to crack open. It ended up being put on the 10" High Tec Saw for the second half!
So much fun!!!!
