Happy Super Bowl weekend! I’m actually not a football fan so this will be Super Sewing weekend! Putting the finishing touches in the tutorial and completed three other quilt tips to send off to the quilter!! January was a crazy busy month. Just trying my best to keep up with messages, sewing and finishing the tutorial. Thank you for all your support and patience!!

Taking a moment to give everyone an update. But first.. When did Chick-a-fil start selling cold brew and why didn’t anyone tell me!! YUM. Definitely keeping me going on these late nights.

I still working on the tutorial. I promise it is on its way! Just trying to keep up with all the messages.

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and thank everyone for their kind words and appreciation of my moms quilt. I never expected it would get this kind of attention.

So, my name is Tabitha and I have been sewing for 40+ years. My mom taught me the basics when I was still single digit aged. I have always been creative and crafty. I sewed a lot of my own clothes. My sewing really took off when I became an auntie and I made Halloween costumes for my nieces. Best dressed little ones if I may say so myself. A few years later I had my own kids and I always was making something for one of them. My quilting started a few years ago when my mom introduced me to long arm quilters. My world opened up and I haven’t stopped creating quilts since. I particularly enjoy creating one of a kind quilts. And BIG quilts. I have a few more to post. I love adding personal little touches to every quilt I make.

A few people have asked about the little squirrel in the corner of the monopoly quilt. My nickname is squirrel, it was given to me when I was my daughters Girl Scout leader, and it just stuck. The quilts I have made for my friends and family, I “hide” that little guy somewhere on there. If I ever get the privilege of creating a quilt for you, just let me know you want him on there!

Now I got to get back to sewing. This tutorial won’t write its self!!!
