In honor of our daughter Elise, who was gone way too soon, 17 years ago today.. I wanted to share with you where we got our name Elise Co Family Farm. She is our reason. Our reason for our name. Our reason for how we raise our family…. For staying present and connected and never taking our time together for granted because none of us are promised tomorrow. Our reason for wanting a garden. Imagining her walking in the gardens of Heaven and somehow being close to her while we walk thru our gardens on earth. She is our reason. We are Elise Co because she is Elise.

Our little Easter Hatchlings 🥰 silkie, bantam cochin, and our very own F1 Olive Egger from our Ameraucana hen (Pickles) and our French Black Copper Maran rooster (Sundance) as well as our Isa Brown hen with our Sundance ❤️
Still waiting for the arrival of our Cream Legbar eggs that are still in the incubator... due yesterday, so keeping our fingers crossed they will be here soon!
