A little bit of the process for this beauty!
With this being such a major project, and having to learn so many new things at once, I was definitely sweating a bit while assembling!!
I worked my way up, starting with some Sterling Silver and cubic zirconium samples of tube settings
First was the simple mountain pendant with the tube setting just to get the hang of things
And then I made a full Sterling Silver version of the ring that would later be made in White Gold
These settings are EXTREMELY technical, it's a ton of math and making sure things are perfect before executing a very light touch to cut the "seat" for thr diamond to sit in
When it's all set up, the diamond will basically snap into place right before you set the stone by pushing over the perfect amount of metal to hold it in place
This is definitely one of the most technical pieces I've ever done and it pushed my limits in the absolute best way possible!!!!
Drop any questions you have about the process in the comments ๐
