No one ever tells you that the hardest part of being a mother is that success eventually looks like letting go.
One day youāre holding your little boy in the kitchen dancing to musicā¦ and before you know it, youāre standing in a dorm room trying not to cry.
The goal was never to keep them little forever.
āØThe goal was to love them so well, they grow up brave enough to leave.
And somehow, that heartbreak is also the greatest proof you did it right. š¤
My Kaden boy graduates from high school next week with honors, and then heās off to the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
We couldnāt be more proud and are excited to see what the next four years has in store for him!
As for me, Iām starting a support group for this next phase of motherhood. š¤Ŗ Anyone who is unwell during this challenging chapter, we will meet once a monthā¦
