The silence is over. I’m back.

We’re bringing the all-girl band back together.

For those who remember the magic of the original Executive Girlfriends' Group: all 175 of you that are still in this group: it’s time.

We’ve been on a long hiatus, but the mission never left my heart.

And stay tuned, as we may just bring back our Friday afternoon catch-up call. Maybe not every week, but I am feeling a strong calling to do something different this year. And reconnecting with you is a big part of things.

It’s about more than just catching up.

We are re-energizing this tribe for supporting one another in a meaningful way.

We’re moving from passive waiting to obedient surrender and action.

The risk? Doing nothing and letting our collective power fade.
The reward? Impact that changes the world.

We are not rebuilding the Executive Girlfriends' Group. We are in a new season.

I passed the baton of running an organization to Linda Fisk and she is crushing it. If you haven't checked out LeadHERship Global, you owe it to yourselves to do it.

This is not that. We are not a paid membership. There are no levels of connection and meaningless likes and follows.

But if you need something, you have to know someone is here.

We are just girlfriends that work too much, don't spend enough time on ourselves, have work and relationship challenges. Learning to deal with the empty nest and new family dynamics with dealing with adult children and aging parents (and husbands!!). Oh and the "R" word.

Does retirement ever really happen?? My husband is 75 and still working!

The great thing about this?
We aren't just building a network. We’re building a legacy.

It’s good to be back.

Lately I’ve been thinking about the season when we built Executive Girlfriends’ Group — the conversations, the candor, the uncommon bonds.

Extraordinary Women | Uncommon Bonds.

That room changed people. It changed me.

Today I was reflecting on Linda Fisk and the LeadHERship Global community and it reminded me what happens when the right women gather around impact, faith, and innovation. The right room shifts your frequency.

For the past few years I’ve been building my tech company quietly — deep infrastructure work, long hours, shuttle-prep before lift-off. It’s meaningful work. It’s also solitary.

And it made me realize how much I value this kind of circle.

We were never about networking.
We were about being known — the mission, the heart, and yes, even the messy middle.

I’m not looking to resurrect EGG.
But I am open to reconnecting.

If even one of you feels nudged to reach out, that’s enough.

We were never meant to lead in silos.

Faith. Life. Business. It’s all one integrated journey — and it’s better when world-class women walk beside you.

I haven't had much of a reason to be on FB of late. Perhaps this is it!

Thor is SO smart. Every morning when Tricia McClendon and I walk, we start out walking the two culdesac loops to the left of my house and then when we come back past the house, he joins us and walks to the front pond and sits with us as we take a short break and get a little Vitamin D. This morning as we came back from Tricia's cul de sac, Thor was waiting for us 4 houses down in their driveway, where he was watching for us. He then resumed the walk with us to the pond. Love that little guy.
