Oh what a summer. My words about this summer have become monotonous, so I thought that I’d post this picture and maybe get another angle on my misery. Of course Medusa had her head cut off and fortunately I still have mine. But, don’t take my word for it, come by my studio to see for yourself. Studio hours…Tues., Wed. And Thur., 12:00-4:00, Friday and Saturday by appointment.

I had a big thought…maybe if we wear white the weather will cool off! Stranger things have been said in this political climate. Rob Ashmore ( a Tallahassee local legend) told me that when you see the pecans falling from the trees, Fall is right around the corner. Now he didn’t give into lies or fantasies, he was a god fearing man that drank apple c***r vinegar before he went to bed. I saw pecans falling from the trees on my morning walk. So, I’m hopeful that we’ll feel cooler soon. BTW, come by LeMoyne and see the new garden sculptures. They’re both wonderful additions to the garden…wear white, too. I’ll be at my studio this week, Tues., Wed. And Thursday, from 12-4:00, or by appointment.

A new plate, a new design. I love anything fossil, especially ammonite.
