I’ve been keeping a little secret… I wrote a book! ❤️

For more than 40 years, clay has been teaching me lessons I didn’t know I was learning. Those years at the pottery wheel—and the many years I’ve spent teaching others—eventually became Spiritual Lessons I’ve Learned from Teaching Pottery.

It’s a collection of stories from a lifetime of working with clay and the spiritual lessons I discovered along the way about trust, patience, purpose, surrender, and the hands of the Potter at work in our lives.

Spiritual Lessons I’ve Learned from Teaching Pottery is available now on Amazon.

🐟💙 Tomorrow morning at 11am! 💙🐟

Join us for Paint Me A Story! We'll read The Pout-Pout Fish inspired by the movie and then paint this adorable fish together!

This is a fun, relaxed morning designed especially for little ones. We'll start with story time, then everyone can paint at their own pace. Some little artists finish quickly, while others like to take their time—and that's perfectly okay!

A sweet way to spend quality time together and create a keepsake you'll treasure for years.

Who's coming to paint with us tomorrow? We'd love to paint with you! 💙

Nine years in a row! ❤️

We are so honored to be voted Best of Fort Bend – Art/Craft Activity Venue for 2026 by the readers of the Fort Bend Independent & UpClose Magazine!

When I opened the doors to Fire It Up in 2015, I simply hoped to create a place where people of all ages could slow down, be creative, and make lasting memories together. Knowing that our community continues to support that dream year after year means more than I can put into words.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, visited the studio, celebrated birthdays with us, created family keepsakes, took a pottery wheel class, made fused glass, or simply told a friend about Fire It Up. You are the reason we've been blessed with this incredible honor for 9 consecutive years.

From the bottom of my heart... thank you. ❤️
