I'm working on new lamp designs, in hopes of having a special Halloween drop of themed lamps 🥰

I miss posting previews of what I'm working on, but my competitors are always one step ahead of me and I'm not positive I've found the rat yet, unfortunately. But I have some really fun lamps on the way!

As for my health journey, my two MRIs are scheduled for near the end of this month, and I'll be meeting with my surgeon on October 1st. Right now it's looking like my surgery should be mid October to November sometime, and I'll have a fairly long recovery and won't be able to work on much during that time.

When I know for sure when things will be scheduled for, I'll be closing shop for a while since I won't be able to finish or ship anything, and don't want open orders just sitting for too long.

As always, I'll keep you updated along the way, so you know when the ordering window will be 💛

Today I discovered that I need to get not one, but TWO MRIs before my surgery. Thankfully, I was able to schedule them together, but for some odd reason they're not doing both while I'm in the machine 😅

(I'm guessing because each one was ordered by a different doctor)

However, that won't be until the 22nd, and who knows when they'll schedule my surgery after that. And with upwards of 6 weeks for recovery, I unfortunately won't be vending Moth Market in October. This will be the first Moth Market I'm not vending since the beginning of Moth Market, and I'm devastated to have to cancel it.

But, if you're remotely close to Springfield Missouri, please go support my glorious event coordinators and the other fantastic artists and vendors 🖤

Sometimes while thrifting, I'll see something and get inspired.

This was just a candle holder, (the bottom) which I originally picked up to use for a sculpting base. But looking at it one day, I realized I could modify a casting to create a new fairy lamp!

I'm not sure what to call this one, but I think it's neat!

Ok folks, getting a little weird with it right now but, I'm weird 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Introducing, my TOOTH FAIRY LAMPS!

This one is obviously a mini, but I wanted to test my idea on a smaller scale before I put in the effort on a larger one.

This baby scratches my oddities need, while also making a fun little way to help your kiddos summon the tooth fairy when they lose their teeth (if you do that in your home)

I'll be prepping this tiny one for molding this evening before I go to bed, and I'll start on a larger one very soon 💛

This is also my original design, and under no circumstances should be copied by anyone else.

Ok folks, I'm back home from the Columbia event, but I'm absolutely exhausted.

I'm still waiting for the call to schedule my spine surgery, so I'm not sure what the next few months will be like for me, as the surgery has a 5-6 week recovery time.

Unfortunately that means that my drop and commissions schedule is subject to change again, because I can't mess around with that recovery.

I have several new lamps in the works, either in the dreamspace or in progress of creation, so I may be able to work on those from my bed to some degree.

I'll see how much I can get done for a drop in September, but the date is TBA.

I truly appreciate you all sticking with me through this rough medical journey, and I'm hoping to be mostly back to my normal self after recovery 💛

Toil and Trouble is finally ready for full production 💚🧙‍♀️💚🧙‍♀️💚
