Today, I received a package from Remento. The company name sounded familiar, but I didn't recall buying anything from them. I opened it up, and it took my breath away. My college roommate passed away last summer, and this was a book of memories that she had written to share with her family. I am so grateful to be on the recipient list and I cherished reading every story from from her early years.

My dad also passed away in December. We were very close and I have found a lot of solace going through photos, writing his life story with my mom, and compiling stories and memories.

The fabric of our lives is woven together with stories, influences, challenges, joys, and traditions. Each one, a unique thread, simple by itself, but part of something more meaningful, relevant, beautiful.

I've struggled to find inspiration for a new seasonal line, but when I opened that box today, it was sitting right in front of me. "Pieces of My Life". Today, my cup overflows with a renewed energy, influenced by many special people, places, and moments. I look forward to sharing them with you soon! Kowalski's Markets
