Our client came to us with several jobs previously. This one was a request that he came in thinking we would say not possible. He has this gorgeous Australian opal. It was set with a half bezel many years ago. He wanted to size it down 3 sizes. The previous several jewelers that he had worked with before he found us all absolutely declined to even touch the ring as they said that the opal wouldn’t survive the sizing. This was problem number one. The half bezel was also extremely worn and the opal was loose. That bezel needed some love also. So he showed it to Jason expecting the same answer. With Nicole’s extremely honed skills, not only did the opal easily survive the sizing up but we repaired the bezel. Not only did we restore it but converted it into a full bezel. Now the once untouchable ring is not only the right size but also has a much better protected opal. We have the skill for the difficult. Now this beauty will be seen for years to come.
