Our Club just finished hosting an Open World exchange. A small group of young professionals from Uzbekistan came to Spokane to share information about air quality and other environmental issues. We arranged a weeks-worth of activities for the group. Despite some gloomy weather at the beginning of the week, Spokane showed its best side. Our guests were made to feel welcome by everyone they encountered. Our Club members learned a lot in the process as well.

Five members of our club attended the North American Convention of Friendship Force International in Milwaukee this week. We made new friends and connected with old ones. We got up to speed on what’s happening at the national and international level. We toured the city and saw the sights and even sampled the beer. A great week.
