The "Make-A-Wish Holiday Hotline" is a seasonal, pre-recorded phone service featuring messages from 6 wish kids from across the country, including Ruby! The purpose of the hotline is to share messages of hope, togetherness, and the Christmas holiday spirit with the public.

Ruby’s wish was featured in Make A Wish’s annual gratitude report, which was recently sent to all their sponsors. It is truly amazing to see God still using Ruby’s story two years later. As we celebrate Ruby and the BRAVE Bracelet’s two-year anniversary next month, we invite you to attend a "meet the author" event at Barnes & Noble in NorthTown Mall next Saturday, November 1st, where Ruby will be signing her books and selling her Brave Bracelets 💖

Today we celebrate the amazing gift that you are — fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). Watching you grow in joy, kindness, and faith has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.

My wife and I are incredibly proud of our daughter, Ruby, for participating in The Second Lady's 2025 Summer Reading Challenge. This initiative, led by Second Lady Usha Vance, encouraged children from kindergarten through 8th grade to read 12 books between June 1 and September 5, 2025. Ruby completed the challenge, earning a personalized certificate, a small prize, and a chance to win a trip to White House, Washington, D.C. We're thrilled to see her embrace this opportunity to promote literacy and combat reading loss. Ruby enjoys reading 📖!!!

We are so proud of our daughter Ruby! Her "Brave Bracelet" small business continues to spread a message of courage and love to so many people. Recently, a new client purchased 72 bracelets, which were taken to California to honor a group of individuals recognized for their bravery.
Thank you, Carolyn & Ed, a very sweet couple, for supporting Ruby’s inspiring initiative. It was so nice to meet for ice cream and deliver the bracelets to them last week.

We thank God for the City of Spokane for allowing Ruby’s book entitled “RUBY AND THE BRAVE BRACELET“ Her picture book has been presented on posts along a walking path at Spokane Riverfront park ‘StoryWalk.’ The book is about an inspiring Ruby’s real life story of faith in Jesus, hope, courage and triumph in the midst of adversity. We are thrilled to see the community enjoy reading and the outdoors simultaneously. The book was displayed on November 10th and will be on this trail posts for one and half months. If you happen to be downtown Spokane, please stop by and read! God is good, all the times!

Ruby’s book has been successful since launching. Hundreds of copies donated to hospitals and other institutions so far. Tomorrow Ruby’s book will be read to the audience at Downtown Spokane Carrousel Story Time; between 11 am to 12 noon. Carrousel Story Time is an early literacy activity designed to spark and engage the young imagination with stories, songs and also preschool activities. Carrousel rides will be offered to those who attend. Thanks to Spokane City for the opportunity. What a perfect way to testify about Jesus to our communities.
