I have my display set up at Crawford Creations in Fayette, IA, now! Wanda has lots of awesome items of her own, plus she has been getting quite a few other vendors in her store for a great selection of items!!

I now have mini birdhouses at Agora Arts in Decorah, and will soon have most of my items at the Bily Clocks Museum & Antonin Dvorak Exhibit gift shop in Spillville and Crawford Creations in Fayette!!

Having my items on consignment in the various locations is a totally different direction than I initially intended to go when I decided to stop doing craft shows, but this will allow me to keep being creative at a pace that will work better for me — and I won’t continue to burn myself out prepping in between shows to replenish inventory.

I want to thank all of my craft show customers who made this venture so successful!! I learned more than I ever intended to about having your own business, that’s for sure!!

And thank you to my consignment store customers - I appreciate you!!

I still have lots more rings, and only display a handful at each store. I tried to put a variety of each size (whole, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4) in each location, so if you find a ring that fits, but don’t love the design, let me know the exact size, and I can send you pics of more designs in that specific size to choose from!

I also have more beaded earrings, which I will likely keep making for now, along with angel car charms, mini birdhouses, and angel bells! Please send me a message for pics, if you are interested.

For laser items, I have happy birthday cake toppers, Christmas ornaments, a couple of family trees (w/ custom name hearts), and can make custom orders as well!

If you have your own silverware you want items made from, let me know!!

I also still have birthstone crystal beads and initial pendants, so if you need a birthstone necklace (or bead added to an item), let me know!

Here is a video of the simple instructions for removing the lacquer from the mini birdhouses, if you notice tarnish underneath the coating (written instructions were included with sale, as well).

You can use the same method if you notice tarnish on any of my other laser engraved metal pieces as well (necklace, car charm or key ring) - EXCEPT, be careful not to use the paint thinner directly on the engraved lettering or design as it will remove the laser marking as well.

After removing the lacquer, a silver cleaning cloth can be used to clean/shine it up!

EDITED TO NOTE: This video is for the mini birdhouses I made and sold in 2025. I used a lacquer spray coating to inhibit tarnish, but had no way of knowing how long it would prevent tarnish. A note with instructions was included with each sale as well. I have switched to a metal wax in 2026 that does NOT require paint thinner to remove it*, if tarnish appears. (*Silver cleaner will remove the wax.)

Another pivot! As of May 1, I’ll have my items at Midwest Artisans Group in Cresco. I am excited for this opportunity and change!

If you have not stopped in yet, make a point of getting there and be amazed at all there is!There are about 60 artisans displaying their unique works, and it is all set up very nicely as you wander from room to room taking it all in!

‼️Well, as all good things come to an end, I have decided to stop doing craft/vendor shows‼️

Although it has been a successful venture and I enjoyed it, it has become a second full-time job for me — at about $1.50 an hour, all said and done 🥴. I wish I was exaggerating, but it is all-consuming for about 2/3 of the year, and after paying sales tax, income tax, and social security tax (right?!? - no choice 😡), the “profit” and benefits do not outweigh the time investment for me. My intention was to cut back on the number of shows I participated in starting in 2026, but life is short and how I spend my time gets more important to me each year. No time like the present to make a change ☀️‼️

I will definitely miss doing the shows and making new friends of both customers and other vendors, so it is bittersweet! But, being a creative person, it’s also a bit tedious to make the same things over and over, and it started to feel like I was a one-person mini factory, rather than a fun hobby, which was my sole intention.

‼️I have quite a bit of inventory on hand that I will be liquidating in various ways‼️

Right now, I’m focusing on resellers — so if you know anyone who buys to resell handmade items, send them my way‼️
