25 years ago, our nation experienced a day that changed us forever.
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away, the families who never got to say goodbye, and the countless lives forever changed by September 11, 2001.
We remember the fear and heartbreak—but we also remember what came after. Neighbors helping neighbors. Strangers becoming family. Flags flying from front porches. A country standing together as one.
May we never forget the lives lost. May we always honor the heroes. And may we carry forward the strength, compassion, and unity that brought us together in the days that followed.
