I take great pride in my artisan jewelry and art, and hope you will find something beautiful and unique for you and your loved ones. A resident of Spartanburg, SC, since 1996, Nancy Mariani was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The daughter of a locally well-known watchmaker and inventor, Juan Guillermo Kippes, Nancy learned from a very early age the ways of fine workmanship, attention to detail, a
nd creativity. It thus came to nobody’s surprise when Nancy became the first woman in the country to graduate with a technical degree from the Swiss Watchmaking School of Argentina. Nancy has always been captivated by all forms of art, especially music. At the age of four she learned how to play the guitar and by thirteen she graduated with the highest honors with a music degree in guitar from the acclaimed De Caro Conservatory of Music. Later on in life, Nancy studied painting under Maria Szkely and sold her out artwork in her hometown of San Isidro with great success. Inspired by her love for the visual arts and music, Nancy creates unique artisan pieces combining her favorite metals, including gold and silver, with fine semiprecious stones and crystals (these being just a few of the components that come together in order to bring her exquisite pieces to life). Her goal is to make fine jewelry accessible and affordable to all women who value the highest form of art and craftsmanship in what they wear.
