Another fraud order flagged this morning.

Third one this year. It's wild how much small shops have to watch for this stuff - every sale gets double-checked before anything ships.

There's something grounding about seeing the stitches from my own point of view.

Every loop becomes part of something that will outlast me, because handmade pieces carry time in a different way.

Each row is love and a hug in stitches - slow work, intentional work, the kind that turns into something meant for more than one generation.

These quiet rows matter long after the yarn leaves my hands.

Crocheting on the go and letting this Virus Shawl grow one Blue Raspberry stitch at a time.

Patons Kroy has such a good rhythm for projects like this - easy to pick up, easy to keep moving, and perfect for those in-between moments when my hands need something to do. Slow progress still counts, and these colors are worth every row.

Three finished blankets and one still waiting on more yarn — the kind of project stack that makes my maker heart happy.

Each one has its own story, its own rhythm, and its own little personality stitched into it. Even when life gets busy, creating something warm and comforting reminds me why I love this craft so much.

Here’s to slow progress, colorful rows, and the joy of handmade blankets finding their way into the world. 💛🧶

Thrifted craft‑book haul from Fernley a few weeks ago 🧶✨

These beauties were calling my name — Afghans for All Seasons, Crochet for the Kitchen, and Dishcloths. I might not need more books, but when your retirement dream is living off‑grid, building a home library now feels essential.

Each page is a reminder that handmade skills and self‑sufficiency never go out of style. Here’s to cozy projects, timeless patterns, and the joy of learning something new every day. 💛

Working on doll skirts today and honestly... size really does matter.

Getting that perfect little fit takes way more tweaking than people think, but when it finally comes together? Ugh, the satisfaction.

Tiny hanger, tiny skirt, big win for the craft room today.

Sorting through my doll clothes and accessories today and honestly...

I forgot how cute some of these pieces are.

Little hangers printing, outfits getting pulled, and I'm finally getting this tote moving toward the shop again.

Tiny things, big serotonin.

I’m finally getting ready to start listing all the handmade inventory that’s been sitting in storage since PTB closed, and now I can’t decide what should go up first.

Stuffies, household pieces, beauty items, toys, or apparel — it’s all been boxed up for months and I’m excited to start bringing it back to life. Help me choose what gets posted first!

One week since "Black Tuesday."

One week since that email hit all of us at once and everything shifted overnight.

We're still processing, still regrouping, still figuring out what the next chapter looks like without Painted Tree.

As I start sorting through inventory and rebuilding online, I'd love your input - what should I list first? Spring items, leftover PT pieces, or something completely different?
