I was a Nurse Midwife for 35 years. While others had 9-5 jobs mine had more weekday ‘leisure’. Along with a retired Art Teacher friend I began attending flea markets and antique fairs first looking for Art pottery and then more and more Jewelry.
Being a hard person to give presents I was drawn to antique jewelry education first through ‘Jewelry Camp’ at Hofstra University and then GIA. Over time I grew my ability to assess and appraise jewelry and strive to find the best of iconic examples of Antique and Estate Jewelry.
I have a history of being at various shops in Woodbury but needed a space that had maximum security and that I could manage in my retirement. Now I am at my shop full time and enjoy the pieces people bring in for appraisal repair and consignment. 134 Main Street South 68F, Southbury, CT.
