The Butterfly Dew Tourmaline Pendant centers around a 30.11 carat slice of watermelon tourmaline from the Dunton Quarry in Newry, Maine, showing its natural shift from vibrant green to rose pink. Handmade by Dennis Creaser in 14K yellow and white gold, the design was inspired by the fine veins of a butterfly wing and accented with dew drops of Ocean Blue tourmaline from Mount Mica.

It’s hard to look away from this one!

At the center of this ring is a 3.58 ct emerald barion cut tourmaline from the Dunton Quarry in Newry, Maine, cut by Dennis Creaser and glowing in rich blush rose tones with flashes of peach and champagne. Two mint green Maine tourmalines totaling .74 ct frame the center stone with the perfect touch of fresh contrast and depth. Set in 14K yellow gold with a sleek flat band, the clean design lets the color do all the talking!

March is Aquamarine month, and aquamarine is one of the many beautiful gemstones found in Maine. These stones came from Stoneham, Maine, and were mined at the Aldrich Quarry in the 1970s. The Aldrich Quarry is one of Maine’s notable pegmatite localities and is especially known for producing gem-quality aquamarine. A beautiful reminder of Maine’s rich mining history and the natural beauty found right here at home.
