Newest blade from the cutoff of my mosaic Damascus billet. It's mostly one or two tiles that have stretched out long. People often ask me about crazier handle materials and what that constitutes. Here we have resin embedded mammoth tusk along with faux ivory.

I did something I never do. I set out to make myself a knife...for myself. I usually carry either one of my old teacher...

I did something I never do. I set out to make myself a knife...for myself. I usually carry either one of my old teachers pieces or one of my for sale pieces.
This was the cutoff from my seax I made a while back. It was an odd shaped lump. The sides at the guard and finger notch are forged finish.
The blade is 52100/304. I have 1 other bar of this that I'm going to sell. In the future I'm using a different mix.
The handle is walnut with a stainless mosaic pin.
