I want to first thank all my previous loyal homecoming mum customers for the continued support when I make your customized mums every year. Unfortunately for this season, I will not be making any mums. I am currently enrolled in college full time and working full time at Sonora High school, which leaves very little time for mum making. If all goes well, I will graduate next spring. Si dios quiere, I will be able to make mums next season.

Late and overdue post. I made this mum for a friends daughter. She is in Jrotc. At Midland Legacy High.
I was having trouble finding anything associated with ROTC at mum supply shops. So I asked her mom to send me a picture of her patch that is on her uniform, so I could recreate it.
I was very impressed with the outcome. So was Ava’s fellow candidates and her Chief. He had never seen anything done like that before.
Here is a picture of the actual patch, and then her mum with the recreation of that patch.

I would also like to send a Huge Thank you to Dianika and Abby, for all their help in making mums. I took up their weekends and late nights. They didn’t go hungry, I let them steal all of Keanus cookies. They kept it fun, we gossiped, and I showed them “old movies.” According to Abby. They weren’t that old, they were filmed in the late 90’s early 2000’s. 🙄
