💔 DAY 8 — STILL CLOSED & STILL WAITING 💔

Today marks 8 days since Steph’s Sweet Treats was forced to close due to the unexpected weather damage to our building.

Unfortunately, we still have no update on when repairs will begin or when we may be able to reopen. The waiting and uncertainty have been incredibly difficult. 😔

Every day that passes is another day our doors remain closed, another day of lost business, and another day we’re unable to do what we love — serve our amazing customers and community.

We miss seeing your faces.
We miss making your favorite treats. 🍓🍫🍋
We miss our little store.
And most of all, we just want to get back to serving you. 💗

We continue to pray that we receive answers soon and that repairs can begin so we can work toward getting Steph’s Sweet Treats back to 100% and OPEN again. 🙏🏽

💔 DAY 4 — STILL CLOSED 💔

Today marks Day 4 of Steph’s Sweet Treats being closed, and we are still completely devastated by everything that has happened.

Seeing the place we’ve poured so much love, hard work, time, and dedication into suddenly unable to operate has been incredibly difficult. Our store isn’t just a business to us — it’s our employees, our customers, our dreams, and a little piece of our hearts. 💗

Right now, we are praying that we receive an update soon with an estimated timeline for when repairs can officially begin. 🙏🏽 We are holding onto hope that the damage can be repaired as quickly and safely as possible so that we can get back to 100% and open our doors to serve our amazing community again.

To everyone who has reached out, prayed for us, shared our posts, placed fundraiser orders, or simply reminded us that you’re thinking about us — THANK YOU. Your support means more than we could ever put into words during such an uncertain time.

Due to unexpected and severe weather damage to our building, Steph’s Sweet Treats has been forced to temporarily close. This sudden closure has left our employees without work, our store without its normal income, and many of our products and supplies damaged by water.

While we work through repairs and figure out when we can safely reopen, we’re doing everything we can to support our store family and keep Steph’s Sweet Treats going.

💔 A Heartbreaking Announcement from Steph’s Sweet Treats

It’s heartbreaking for us to share this…

Our little, humble store here in Somerset, TX has been through some incredibly difficult weeks and months. We’ve continued pushing forward through every challenge because of the love and support we’ve received from our amazing community.

Unfortunately, we’ve now been faced with something we simply cannot push through.

Our roof is caving in, water has entered the building, and parts of our store have been damaged. Because of the condition of the building and, most importantly, the safety of our customers and employees, Stephanie will be closing its doors until further notice.

We truly hate having to make this announcement. 💔

This journey has been an extreme struggle at times, but it has also brought us so much joy. Being able to serve this community, meet so many wonderful people, watch families come through our doors, and make the treats you’ve come to love has meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

To every single person who has walked through our doors, shared our posts, recommended us to a friend, supported our small business, or simply told us how much you enjoyed your treat — THANK YOU. 🩷

We don’t know exactly what comes next, but for now, we have to close our doors and focus on what needs to be done.

This isn’t the announcement we wanted to make, and we hope with all our hearts that this is not goodbye — just see you later.
