Some projects mean so much. 💙

Romeo was a familiar and very loved visitor at Maertens. As he began getting older, Allison shared with us that when the time came, she wanted a special piece of jewelry that would allow her to always keep a part of him close.

After Romeo’s recent passing, Heather and Allison worked together to create something that didn’t look like traditional memorial jewelry, just a beautiful diamond necklace Allison could wear every day, knowing the special meaning it held.

Crafted in 14K gold, the diamond pendant has a small hollow cavity in the back where a portion of Romeo’s ashes was carefully placed and permanently sealed inside.

Romeo held a special place in Heather’s heart, too. He was the same breed as her beloved Maggie, and after Maggie passed, Romeo’s visits to the store became even more meaningful.

We hope this necklace brings Allison comfort and happy memories, knowing her dearest companion will always be close to her heart. 💙
