The Turtle Factory is located in Sneads Ferry, A small fishing village on the North Carolina Coast, just minutes away from miles of unspoiled and publicly accessible beaches on the barrier island, know as TOPSAIL ISLAND. Well known as the "Shrimp Capital of the East Coast" Sneads Ferry Celebrates this with the Shrimp Festival, held the second week in August every year. We offer a plethora of

turtle memorabilia, trinkets, souvenirs, gifts, hand made art work from local artists, and many more ocean themed items as well. Taking their homes with them wherever they go, turtles remind us to remember our roots while still welcoming new places and phases in life. The turtle's slow gait requires the animal to have faith that it will eventually get where it is going. They teach us to appreciate life's true necessities: shelter, food, drink, and faith.

Hello, this is Ken. Just finished making a couple LARGE Turtle Footstools, these are larger than the medium ones I made a few months ago. They will be at the Liberty Festival in Holly Ridge this weekend. If the do not sell there, they will be at the TRICKY CHICKEN in Sneads Ferry. These will be $135.00 at the festival or $150.00 at the TRICKY CHICKEN ….

Hello everyone , this is Ken. I Just dropped off 3 Turtle Footstools at The Tricky Chicken in Sneads Ferry along with some different fabric tops for the Hatchlings. The Turtle Footstools are $100 and the Hatchlings are $12. If you want to use your own fabric for a Turtle Footstool I would need a 24 x 24 inch piece. Have a Great Day Everyone!!

Good day at Holly Ridge Bee Festival. The first picture was the first Turtle Footstool sold in 2025. (I also sold another with same fabric. The 2nd photo was the 3rd Turtle Footstool sold (I only had 3). Festival started at 10:00 and had all 3 sold before noon…..now to get some made for The Tricky Chickens store….

Hello Turtle Lovers, this is Ken. I will have the Medium Footstools and the Turtle Hatchlings at the Holly Ridge Bee Festival tomorrow April 26, 2025. I only have 3 Turtle Footstools for this event. They will be $85.00 each. The Turtle Hatchlings will be $10 each at the “Tricky Chicken Booth”. The Tricky Chicken will have Ceramics to paint also at the festival using acrylic paints!! After the festival, Medium Turtle Footstools will be $100 at the Tricky Chicken in Sneads Ferry and the Hatchlings will be $12.
