If your feed is anything like ours, we have been seeing all the buzz around The Odyssey! We are the lucky caretakers of two incredible Ancient Greek Coins until they find a home that will cherish them. These authentic coins have been set in 18k and 22k by the talented artist Steven Battelle.

The stunning Pegasus coin has the helmeted head of Athena on the reverse side. The coin itself originates from the City of Corinth, 375-300 BC. Set in granulated 22k gold with an accent diamond in the bail. The Roaring Lion coin from Thrace, Cherronsesos originates from 350-300 BC and is set in 18k gold with a diamond set on the bottom of the pendant. Each one comes with its own certificate of authenticity.

These gorgeous pendants are a piece of history and art!

A custom collaboration for the ages! One of our lovely patrons recently went on a jewelry journey. She found this stunning Tanzanian sapphire at the Tucson Rock & Gem show that is cut by the one and only John Dyer! She brought it home to us and picked from several of Jan Daggett’s custom designs deciding how she wanted her beautiful stone to be featured. After finalizing all the design details we sent the mold and the stone to Troy Simmons to create the ring. Troy always does an extraordinary job honoring the stone and the design- he brought the ring to life. And sad as we are that we can’t keep this ring in store, we love that it is being worn by one of our favorite ladies!

Have you heard of the rare natural cross agate? Jan Daggett features a collection in gold jewelry, setting these phenomenal stones into pendants, earrings and rings.

The natural cross agate are amazing natural wonders that come from a remote region of Indonesia. Local villagers collect the small agate pebbles from river drainages and ancient gravel terraces. Over the course of a year thousands of agates are gathered, but only 1% reveal the natural cross, and only about 70% of those are successfully ground and polished into finished stones. The villagers work most of these stones without the benefit of electricity! Even with state of the art equipment, cutting the crosses would remain challenging. The natural cross pattern is sealed just under the skin of the agate which must be shaped with extreme caution to reveal the cross.

No more than 250 finished stones are carried out of the jungle each year by one entrepreneur, a former mining engineer from Oregon (Joel Ivey). Of those stones, Jan Daggett has the good fortune to hand pick from his collection for the finest of these rare gems!
