½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
4 ounces unsalted butter softened
3.4 ounces shortening
6.9 ounces packed brown sugar
4 ounces granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons grated orange zest
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups chopped bittersweet chocolate
