Gearing up for one of my biggest markets of the year! If you look at the hours, it is a doozy and it is normally HOT! 🥵 Does that stop the people from coming? Nope!

I finished my newest project and for the most part, am happy with it. I didn’t have any white permanent ink, so used embossing powder which can be unruly! I bought a few more of the little house shapes and hopefully by the time I get to the last one, I will find ‘perfection!’ We’ll see!

You’ll be able to find this ‘house of affirmation’ at my upcoming show in St Charles, Missouri, along with many other goodies! Hope to see you there!

I am semi-local today! And this is as local as I’ll be until November so if you’ve been wanting to shop and you’re in the southeast portion of Iowa - now’s your chance! I was able to get rings and studs restocked, as well as my black frames. And as an added bonus, I brought Mr Faith & Findings with me today! We’ll be in booth # 104 until noon!

I know, I know - I am the worst at this social media thing. DBQFest opened at 10 am and here it is after 1pm already! Better late than never, am I right?!

At any rate, I’m all set up at Dubuque Fest and will be in booth 3 in Washington Park underneath the Ginko tree until 5 today and again tomorrow from 10 am - 4 pm. Come see the new black frames I have available along with the rest of my goodies! 🍄 🌺

I was too busy to freeze sweet corn last year so taking a break from resining today to do about 5 dozen ears. Hopefully I can get another batch done this week, but we’ll see as I’ve got DBQFest coming up this weekend. There is nothing better than Iowa sweet corn and adding it to casseroles and such is simply divine! 🤤

I am struggling to keep my black frames in stock but have managed to get a few more started! The mushroom ones are still my favorite! 🍄 What do you think of these so far and are you canning/freezing sweet corn this year? 🌽

No market for me this weekend as I’m taking a much needed break! Next up will be DBQFest on August 8 & 9. Although not a big market, I absolutely love the feel of this art fair and it ranked up there as one of my favorites of last year! You will find me again in booth number 3 underneath the Ginkgo tree! 🌳

Sharing my newest clock! I found this precious little deer in a greenhouse recently and knew I needed to make something special with it. And it’s hard to tell, but the background is a recent painting my daughter did. I think it’s perfect for the scene! This and many other new creations will be making their debut at the DBQFest in two weeks! Can’t wait!

My son is into legos and the Mandalorian series so for his birthday I made him one of my clocks! I think he liked it! 🥰
