Navajo Sterling Silver Necklace, circa 1985…
Just consigned to Cocopah North, this necklace comes from an estate in Phoenix. The Turquoise has been identified as Bisbee and it measures 30” long, including the Naja pendant. The Naha itself measures 2 3/4” in circumference and it’s strung with 8mm bench-made beads.
We restrung it on four lines of tigertail for safety and replaced the broken clasp with a handmade Navajo clasp…keeping it authentic! This piece is historic, from the golden era of Native American jewelry when Turquoise was as abundant in the Southwest as tumbleweeds.
PRICE: $1800
Cocopah North is open daily from 10 to 6 at Creekside Plaza in Sedona, Arizona with an excellent inventory of vintage and antique Native American jewelry and artifacts.
