On July 14, the “Anna’s Hummingbird” was officially designated as Sedona’s city bird. The local newspaper, *Red Rock News*, reported this news recently.
Hummingbirds symbolize joy, perseverance, and adaptability. From a spiritual perspective, these resilient birds encourage us to remain constantly positive even during difficult times of change, to focus our awareness deeply on the “here and now,” and to keep our hearts open.
When life feels difficult, we tend to close our hearts. That is why I feel this designation holds great significance. Remember, the heart knows everything! That is why it is worth opening your heart again and again. Let the heart lead the way.
