A 2 carat oval? A beautiful round for an anniversary upgrade? A diamond for a Christmas surprise? Or maybe you just know your budget and want us to find the best diamond we can within it.

When we head to Antwerp on October 9th, we’ll be sitting down with diamond dealers and looking at natural diamonds one by one.

On October 9th, we’re headed back to the diamond capital of the world to hand select natural diamonds, one by one.

You can buy a diamond from a piece of paper. We just don’t think that’s the best way to choose one.

Two diamonds can have nearly identical grades on paper and look completely different side by side. That’s why we go to Antwerp.

- We look. - We compare. - We eliminate. - Then we look again. -

Until we find the diamonds we’re proud to bring home and put the Reed & Sons name behind.

That’s what hand selected means to us.

We are picky about diamonds.....Very picky.

A grading report can tell us a diamond's measurements, color, clarity and cut grade.

It cannot tell us whether we love the diamond.

That's why Antwerp matters.

We get to compare diamonds side by side, look at them with our own eyes and reject the ones that may look good on paper but don't impress us in person.

We'll look at a lot of diamonds.

We'll bring home very few.

And that's exactly the point.

That’s how long until we head back to Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world.

And we aren't going just to see what's new.

We're going to sit down with diamond cutters and dealers, sort through diamonds one by one, and hand select the ones we believe are truly worth bringing home to Reed & Sons.

But here's our favorite part:

We can look for yours while we're there.

5 WEEKS UNTIL ANTWERP!

In just five weeks, we’re headed back to Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world, to hand select diamonds for the store. But we don’t have to just shop for us. We can shop for you, too!

There is so much more to a diamond than what you see on a grading report. Two diamonds can have almost identical specs on paper and look completely different when you put them side by side. That’s why we love being able to see them in person, compare them, and choose the ones that really stand out. The ones that sparkle a little more, face up beautifully, and are simply prettier diamonds.

So, if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your diamond for an anniversary, if there’s an engagement in your future, or you just have something special in mind, come talk to us before we leave. We’ll take your wish list with us to Antwerp and hand select a diamond just for you.

In observance of Labor Day, Reed & Sons will be closed Saturday through Monday.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a team that gives so much of themselves to Reed & Sons and to our customers every day. Their talent, dedication, hard work, and genuine care are a huge part of what makes our little family business what it is.

This weekend, we’re giving them a well-deserved extra day to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with the people they love.
