A little bit about me: I grew up in New England, but lived in New York and California prior to settling in Pennsylvania with my family. My studio is housed in a civil war era barn that we moved onto our property and renovated. I love living and creating amongst such rich history and am inspired by it everyday. Formerly, I was a film & video editor and used pictures and sound as a means to tell a
narrative. Although I now create with different media, it's still about telling a story. My 'joey' line is primarily paper based. Each 'focal' features selectively culled and curated vintage imagery that I carefully cut, seal and preserve with resin in mixed metal bezels and incorporate into designs with repurposed vintage chain, beads and findings. From understated & classic to knockout multi-layered statement necklaces, every design is one-of-a-kind and honors the stories of the images used while presenting them in a modern way. Currently, I am developing a new line inspired by the textures and colors of the Bucks County landscape where I live and create. Working with sculpted epoxy clay, rich colored pigments and custom molds, these pieces evoke an organic, earthy vibe that celebrate nature's beauty and imperfections. Layered stacks of patterned bangles, delicate fern silhouette necklaces in silver and bold cuff bracelets with saturated jewel tones and botanical imagery are just some of my new 'anniehall' line coming soon.
