It is such a great experience to learn and do new things. It will broaden how you view the world, and possibly change your life. We can place Exchange students from many different countries, gender, and you can even read through several bio's to pick one that way. When we had our Spain Son Arturo, we found our family doing so much more together as a family. We wen
t to fun places that we have never even gone......... and we live here!! We developed friendships with several of the students and did fun activities with several of them all together. They were happy to meet other exchange students from other countries. It was really fun to watch. Many Host parents have joined us on events too! Some of the great times were when we all went to The Silver tips game, visiting the gum wall and troll, and even the Olympic Game Farm! (none of these events are ever mandatory)
Most students speak SEVERAL languages. (we met one that speaks 6 languages!) They have to get good grades, and be able to speak at least a little English. (Most of ours have taken English for years! Some of our host families have gone to visit their students and still plan on seeing each other again. Darren and I are fortunate to be going to Southern Spain this July . We will be staying with our Student and his family. We can also visit one from Rome while there.
