Before dinosaurs. Before the mountains looked anything like they do today. Before Arizona was Arizona. Four Peaks amethyst began forming roughly 1.4 billion years ago through ancient geological processes deep within the mountain.

Today, that same deposit is accessible via one of our helicopter tours. You can actually step inside the mine where Arizona’s amethyst comes from. 💜

🚁 Helicopter tours are available. Call 480.434.6074 to book!

Ping the bestie/hubby/wifey! This one belongs on the bucket list. 🚁💜

You’re not driving to this adventure.

You’re lifting off over the Arizona desert, flying into the Four Peaks, and heading toward a remote amethyst mine tucked high in the mountains.

The views alone are worth the flight.

But then you get to step inside the mine itself...dig for your own amethyst...and bring it home with you!

So… who are you bringing on board? Tag them!

Private helicopter mine tours are available, with limited public tour seats remaining.

Our Anniversary Has a Gemstone series continues with garnet, pearl, and aquamarine, each tied to a different moment in the story of building a life together.

❤️ Garnet — 2nd Anniversary
🤍 Pearl — 3rd Anniversary
🩵 Aquamarine — 19th Anniversary

An anniversary is more than a date on the calendar. It represents everything a couple has built, weathered, celebrated, and chosen together along the way.

That’s what makes these gemstones so meaningful.

Each one reflects something different about the stage of love it represents, from devotion and growth to harmony and enduring strength.

Swipe through to discover the meaning behind each one.

Celebrating one of these anniversaries? Come visit Four Peaks Mining Co in Scottsdale and find a piece that makes the milestone feel as special as the years behind it.

Most people will never see Four Peaks from this angle. 🚁 Reaching the amethyst mine means flying deep into the mountains with an experienced pilot who knows this route so well, he could fly with his eyes closed. (But don’t worry, he keeps them open on our tours! 😆 )

And somewhere ahead is our landing pad.

Can you spot it?
