Many of my jewelry pieces ate inspired by nature. Today I want to share one of my favorite and unique pieces.

The Asteroid Belt necklace in Sterling Silver and Garnet. Inspired by the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter, these large, Irregular shaped Garnets have been spread out on Sterling wire and spaced with Sterling Silver tubes. The rings represent the path the orbiting asteroids are traveling.

Did you know that Garnets come in a rainbow of colors? Blue, Green, Purple-Red and True Red. Blue and green are the more rare colors with the Purple-Red being the most common. True Red (Pyrope) Garnets tend to be smaller and can be found in Arizona USA.
