Focus Friday is on Emmitt Klein Stropnicky. Emmitt’s metal work tends to lean towards functional minimalism- products with a purpose, and simple lines with a refined design.
Every product is cut and shaped by hand and then assembled by welding, soldering or mechanically joined with hardware. What truly brings the work to life is applying the different kinds of patina, which creates a one of a kind finish on each product.

“ Focus Friday” today at Expressions is on local Fiber Artist Renee Roberts. Renee makes fabulous bags and accessories, cellphone cases, glasses cases, wallets, wristlets, iPad covers and more.
Her colorful bags are versatile, sturdy, roomy, fun, and functional. Each is always “one of a kind “ in terms of fabric. She never makes the same bag twice.
