Creative stash shopping at its finest! ✂️✨

I finally used a pear stamp I’ve had in my collection for YEARS… you know, one of those supplies you keep saving for “someday.” 🍐😄

For this card, I made my own embossed background, layered rich jewel tones with glittery embossing powder, and gave new life to a piece of Christmas ribbon my daughter-in-law was going to throw away! Proof that beautiful cards can come from forgotten supplies and rescued scraps. 💚✨

What’s one craft supply you’ve owned forever but still haven’t used? 👇

Not all adhesives are created equal! ✂️✨ If your embellishments keep falling off, your paper warps, or your layers won’t stay put… your glue choice might be the problem.

In this vintage-inspired handmade card, I’m sharing some of my favorite adhesives for getting the best card-making results — from flat layers to dimensional details, delicate die cuts, trims, and embellishments!

Because the right adhesive can be the difference between “cute for now” and “still beautiful years later.” 💌

What adhesive can you NOT craft without? 👇

95% thrifted items… (okay, except the paper 😄) and 100% stunning! 🇫🇷✨

I created this Paris-inspired handmade card using the Paris Anthology Scrapbooking Kit, thrifted vintage lace doily, cork letters, and a little creative problem-solving! Instead of using ready-made embellishments, I cut floral elements into heart shapes to add extra romance and texture.

Proof that beautiful cardmaking doesn’t require expensive supplies — just imagination, a good thrift haul, and a love of pretty paper! 💕🗼

Don’t have the perfect sentiment, embellishment, or die cut in your craft stash? Make your own! 🎨✨

For this Father’s Day card, I used Canva (yes—even the FREE account!) to create custom greetings and embellishments when my stash didn’t have what I needed. A little creativity + a few clicks can give you endless cardmaking possibilities!

Whether you use Canva or another design platform, you can create sentiments, labels, images, vintage elements, tags, and more to match your project perfectly. No need to wait for the “right” supplies—make what you need and keep creating! 🚗💙

Would you try designing your own card elements?

✨ Turning scraps into something sweet! ✨
This handmade birthday card came together using bits and pieces from my stash — scraps of lace, paper leftovers, bling, ribbon flowers, and die cuts layered into a soft vintage-inspired design. 🌸🎂 Proof that you don’t need brand new supplies to create something beautiful… sometimes the scraps are the stars of the show! 💛

Creative block? Same. 😅 Today I spent way too long searching for inspiration in my craft supplies… and found absolutely nothing.

So instead of overthinking, I stopped trying to make the perfect card and just started creating. No perfect die cuts. No perfect cardstock. Just colorful Dollar Tree stickers, a little improvising, and a reminder that sometimes creativity shows up after you begin.

Is this my best card ever? Nope. Not even close.
But I made something. And sometimes, that’s the win. ✂️✨

Have you ever had to create your way through a creative rut?

🍓🍓 Sometimes crafting means getting creative with what you already have! I didn’t own a strawberry die cut, so I made my own using a heart die, a maple leaf punch, and a little trimming magic ✂️✨

I layered these sweet strawberries with embossed cardstock, tiny daisies, twine, and glittery lettering for the cutest berry-inspired card ever. Proof that you don’t need every trendy supply to create something adorable! 💕

Would you have guessed these strawberries started as hearts? 🍓

Sharing 5 of my favorite card making tips & tricks while creating this layered butterfly card 💙✨ Little details and crafty shortcuts can make such a big difference!

🦋 Make your own envelopes using vintage book pages or scrapbook paper for a perfectly coordinated look
🦋 Instead of covering pretty images in your patterned paper, trim around them and tuck embellishments behind them
🦋 Separate words or images in stamps by masking part of the stamp with a scrap piece of paper
🦋 Save paper by cutting out the center of frames that won’t be seen
🦋 Use a glue runner instead of liquid glue so elements stay repositionable while designing

This card combines layered papers, butterfly accents, wax seals, twine, and vintage book pages for a soft mixed-media feel. Which tip are you trying first? ✂️💌

✨🌙 Completely obsessed with how this dreamy card set turned out! The Magical Thinking paper by Craft Smith was the PERFECT match for my new “I Love You to the Moon and Back” stamp from Stampabilities. Soft celestial vibes, moons, crystals, florals, lace, glitter… yes please! 💕✨

And the best part? I found the stamp at Hobby Lobby for only 69 cents! Sometimes the best crafty finds are the bargain-bin treasures. 😍

I layered these cards with ribbon, lace, sparkle, gemstones, and lots of dimension to create a magical handmade set that feels straight out of a dream journal. Which one is your favorite? 🌙💫

One sheet of 12x12 scrapbook paper = an entire handmade gift set! 🍋✨

This lemon-themed set includes:
📖 A large journal
📓 A mini journal
📂 An ephemera folder
🔖 A bookmark with sleeve
🌿 A decorative page topper

I love how coordinated and giftable everything turned out using just a single sheet of patterned paper! Perfect for happy mail, journaling gifts, or keeping for yourself. 💛

A huge thank you to TreasureBooks on YouTube for the amazing tutorial and endless inspiration!
