My name is Maggie and since childhood I have been intrigued by rocks. This interest was nurtured by members of my family who had a traveling lapidary workshop called "The Rock Hound." It was a tiny trailer completely refitted to contain anything and everything needed to finish and set rocks, turning them into truly beautiful "stones." The Rock Hound was always a magical place to hang out, full of
equipment, bright lights and awesome noise. Now I have an opportunity to bring out the best in the natural stones and elements that I love to search for. I strive to present the most beautiful pairings of textures as well as colors. Highly polished stones create an aura of classic beauty and the rough cut stones that I like so well bring out the raw natural essence that is present in every stone prior to cutting and polishing. When combined they make wearable art! I hope you will like and appreciate the beauty in my creations, the philosophy that less is often more, which allows a greater experience of just the stones. They are designed with the goal of making YOU feel fabulous! I truly appreciate all of your feedback. My goal is for everyone to find that “special” piece of jewelry – the one that makes you feel truly beautiful. For me, designing jewelry will always be a labor of love. Each of my designs becomes a very personal experience for me. My greatest hope is that they become personal for you as well!
