What does freedom look like for you?
My friend Danica sent me this photo and I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Paddle in hand. Dog on board. Teal water so still it looks fake. Desert canyon walls that don’t care what’s in your inbox.
That’s freedom. And she just casually sent it to me like it wasn’t the most beautiful thing I’d seen all week.
That’s the thing about the women in my life — they’re out there living it, and somehow sharing it makes it feel like mine too. Like adventure is contagious. Like freedom has no borders.
The bracelet in this shot? That’s ABD. Made from a bike inner tube and spent brass. It doesn’t know it’s on a paddleboard in the middle of a canyon — but it fits perfectly there, doesn’t it?
Because that’s what we make. Jewelry for the women who are out there doing it — and for the ones living vicariously through a text message on a Tuesday, already planning their next escape.
